September 2016 brought the first visit to Washington by the new Austrian Minister of the Interior Wolfgang Svobotka.  In addtion to meeting with the U.S. Attorney General, Ulli Wiesner escorted Mr. Svobotka and his team to various engagements, including meeting at the Pentagon with heads of the U.S. National Security directorate, a meeting with the CIA, and a visit to the FBI counter-terrorism center in Vienna, Virginia.
